Hello Soccer Fans:
The Summer Soccer season has ended and there are several announcements to bring to your attention.
- Evaluations are currently running as posted on our website. The $25 Evaluation Fee does not commit players to TRSA. The $100 commitment fee is due around November 1st.
- The Annual General Meeting will be held Sunday August 14, 2011 at 7:00 pm Rockwoods Grill (a TRSA sponsor) located at Highway 101 and County Road 39 in Otsego. All members of TRSA are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate. If you are interested in becoming involved via a board position or wish to send your feedback for improvements, please email president@trsaonline.org at least two days prior to the meeting.
- Quality communication is important for TRSA and its members to be successful as an organization. Any time you contact TRSA with concerns, please copy me. Coaches and Team Managers are also encouraged to use websites for their team calendar and email notification, such as www.shutterfly.com. Group texting can also be useful when informing parents and players of game changes due to weather issues such as were experienced this year.
- Some players will be starting 4v4 (Fall Recreation) or Fall Travel. Check our website www.trsaonline.org for information and online registration.
- The new Maple Grove Indoor Dome will be open this Fall!! We have signed a contract with MapleBrook Soccer Association to sublease the Dome in order to provide all TRSA players opportunities to train on the turf throughout the winter. We rent the full field from 11/4/2011 to 4/14/2012 on Friday’s from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday’s from 9:00 – 10:00 am, with some exceptions. A calendar will be posted online to reflect age appropriate training sessions that are INCLUDED in your TRSA registration fees. We also plan to offer open times for full field scrimmages and possibly some training camps for a cost. Important Note: You must be registered with TRSA and have paid your $100 commitment fee in order to be eligible for the free training sessions.
